Tampines Rovers vs Balestier Khalsa
(Saturday, 22 October, 7.30pm, Jurong West Stadium)
Tampines Rovers will continue their preparations for the 2016 RHB Singapore Cup final when they welcome Balestier Khalsa to Jurong West Stadium on Saturday night.
Having conceded the S.League title to Albirex Niigata (S), the Stags are now aiming to finish as runners-up in the league, as well as preparing to take on the White Swans in the Singapore Cup final, which now represents their only chance of claiming a silverware this season.

Home United reignite their AFC Cup dream, taking advantage of Hougang United’s loss to newly-crowned Great Eastern Yeo’s S.League champions Albirex Niigata (S) the previous day, as they defeated Balestier Khalsa 5-0 at the Toa Payoh Stadium on Saturday night.
With an AFC Cup slot firm in their sight, the Protectors wasted no time in stamping their dominance early in the match, scoring the first goal in the 12th minute. Ambroise Begue’s freekick deep into the box found Song who eluded his marker to thump home the opening goal of the match.
Home United will be looking to get into the driver’s seat in the race for the AFC Cup spot as they face Balestier Khalsa in the Great Eastern Yeo’s S.League at the Toa Payoh Stadium on Saturday night.
With three games left to play, Home United very much in with a shot at the qualifying for the AFC Cup. They sit in fifth place, a point behind Hougang United, currently occupying the second-best local side spot.
