::Preview : S-League Match 2008 (Week 3) : Tampines Rovers FC vs Balestier Khalsa FC::
TOA PAYOH, 29 February: During their last visit to Tampines Stadium back on 12 July 2007, Balestier Khalsa came from behind to beat Tampines Rovers 2-1 to end the Stags' long unbeaten run at home. On Saturday, Balestier will face Tampines in Week 3 of the new season. Kick-off is at 7.45pm.

The Tigers' scorers for that night Farizal Basri and Fortune Udo have since left the club as the management has decided to concentrate more youth for the next three seasons. Last Wednesday, Balestier and Tampines were in league action and both teams lost at their respective home grounds with their former players netting the winning goal for the visiting teams.

Bah Mamadou headed Gombak United's winner in a 1-0 win over Balestier, while Peres De Oliveira scored Home United's winner in the dying minutes in a 2-1 victory over Tampines.

Balestier will be looking further to tighten their defence having conceded all their three league goals in the second half.
