Super Reds FC notched up their third win in the S-League when
they defeated Balestier Khalsa FC 3-2 at Yishun Stadium. The
Koreans scorers were Jeon Byung Euk (24th, 72nd) and Joo Ki
Hwan (69th). While Ryuji Sueoka (64th penalty) and Kaze Teffo

After almost 12 days of uncertainty on Tigers' next S-League
fixture date, Balestier Khalsa FC finally confirmed the fixture
against Woodlands Wellington FC to be on Thursday, 20 September
2007 at Toa Payoh Stadium, 8.00pm.
Ex-Woodlands captain Fathi Yunus, now with Balestier, will
sit out of this encounter through suspension, likewise in
the Woodlands camp, former Tigers' skipper Akihiro Nakamura,
Hasrin Jailani and captain Ahmad Latiff, who is also recovering
from injury.
Tickets for this match can be purchased from the match venue
from 7.00pm onwards.
Balestier Khalsa FC vs Woodlands Wellington FC (S-League
Match 141) Due to the international friendly match between Singapore
and UAE on 12 September 2007, the NTUC Income-Yeo's S.League
match between Balestier Khalsa FC and Woodlands Wellington
FC (Match No. 141) to be played at Toa Payoh Stadium will
be re-scheduled to a later date to be decided soon.

Verdict of Woodlands Wellington Disciplinary Hearing On Thursday 13 September 2007, the S.League Disciplinary
Committee convened with regards to the abandoned match between
Woodlands Wellington and Tampines Rovers on 5 September 2007.
As well as awarding the match to Tampines Rovers 2-0, Woodlands
Wellington Football Club admitted to the charge of failing
to fulfill its obligation without just cause when the team
walked out of the field of play and refusing to continue with
the game and causing the match to be abandoned and has been
fined S$30,000 and deducted six league points.
The club also admitted to the second charge of failing to
ensure that the spectators did not misbehave or throw missiles
or water bottles.
Club Chairman Francis Gomez admitted to the charge causing
and encouraging Woodlands Wellington to walk out of the field
of play resulting in the match being subsequently abandoned
and has been fined S$10,000 and banned from attending any
S.League, Singapore Cup or Prime League match till 31 December
2007.
Meanwhile Head Coach Jorg Steinebrunner admitted to the charge
of causing and encouraging his team members to walk out of
the field of play which resulted in the match being abandoned
subsequently and has been fined S$2,000.
Club captain Jerry Bartholomeusz admitted to the charge of
walking out of the field of play and thereafter refusing to
continue with the game and causing the match to be abandoned
and has been fined S$1,500.
Woodlands Wellington players Azlan Alipah, Bah Mamadou, Imran
Sahib, Kamal Nasir, Laakkad Abdelhadi, Park Tae Won, Sazali
Salleh, Yazid Yasin and Zahid Ahmad all admitted to the charge
of walking out of the field of play and thereafter refusing
to continue with the game and causing the match to be abandoned
and have been fined S$1,000 each.
KICK-OFF OF S.LEAGUE AND PRIME LEAGUE MATCHES DURING RAMADAN The Ramadan will fall from 13 September to 12 October
2007.
